Kari’s House child care
program offers an exceptional environment for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and the
grown-ups who love them. Kari is an experienced, licensed family child
care provider specializing in loving, nurturing and responsive care in a small
group setting. The first years of a child’s life are extremely important years
in their development and a supportive child care environment will prepare your
child for the world around her/him.
My philosophy is to nurture development, encourage curiosity, build problem solvers and add manageable challenges so that the children develop skills and behaviors needed for success while they are on the road to school readiness. My role is to offer intentional activities that are developmentally appropriate, meaningful, fun and possible for the children to do. The Minnesota Early Learning Standards and the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress (birth to three and three to five years) provides a framework for early childhood educators to work within setting developmentally appropriate expectations and goals. My child care program supports the child and parents with the transition to school and provides a very positive send off to Kindergarten.

Kari's House has one opening for an older infant, toddler or young preschooler.
The next opening (infant, toddler or preschooler) will be available in the late summer of 2013. Business Hours:
